Confirmed Online Casino Partnership

There was some earlier speculation about a land-based gambling company based in Nevada Station and Full Tilt being in serious talks about establishing a partnership. And the speculations were confirmed in a news story published in the Wall Street Journal. The respected American business publication revealed that Fertitta Interactive, a brand owned by Station Inc, was tasked by owners Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta and other gambling executives to establish a partnership with Full Tilt Poker, the world's second largest online casino poker operator. This news follows the previously established partnerships between land-based gambling companies and online casinos. Caesars was first to sign an agreement with 888 holdings immediately followed by Wynn and Pokerstars.

The Wall Street Journal report also revealed that talks were already being made between Station and Full Tilt since 2025 and the companies decided to announce only this year. There were also previous speculations regarding the objectives of the partnership; people cannot help but think that the proposed bill for the regulation of online casinos has something to do with it. The two earlier partnerships were clearly to prepare for online casino legislation. The Station-Full Tilt partnership is no different according to the publication. If the bill passes all hurdles, Fertitta Interactive and Full Tilt will compete with other companies in offering internet poker services.

Industry expert and co-owner of Fertitta, Tom Breitling, said that he supports the intrastate initiative to regulate online casino poker in Nevada and adds that it will benefit the gambling industry, and create employment opportunities and a new source of tax revenue for the state. But for the meantime, the two companies will be supporting the bill in order to ensure their mutual interests.
